KICKER® Performance Audio raises the bar with the next step in the evolution of its Zune™ line of Home and Personals gear. The KICKER ZK150 Digital Docking System with Alarm makes it easier for Zune users to wake up in the morning, or to simply enjoy powerful, quality sound done only like KICKER can. This is no glorified clock-dock radio; it’s a clock that can rock!

The ZK150 dock, which is compatible with all current Zune devices, takes a page out of KICKER’s 30 years in high-performance car audio with the exclusive tuned-port enclosure for the clearest sound and enhanced bass response. Whether the ZK150 is playing the newest Zune device, AM/FM radio or another portable media player, its ported enclosure works with superior full-range speakers and an integrated amplifier featuring digital signal processing to deliver larger-than-life, signature KICKER sound.

With a choice of Zune, radio, or alarm, it also provides the ultimate waking-up experience! The dual alarm is the convenient way for two to wake, with a large snooze button within easy reach. If the electricity goes out, the ZK150 provides a no-fail, internal power back-up that saves all settings without the use of batteries. At bedtime, a sleep timer can be set up to 120 minutes, and the LCD clock display has 10 brightness levels for an optimum glow.

The tremendous sound quality and numerous features mean the ZK150 works ideally beyond the bedroom. An auxiliary-input allows for more entertainment options in the form of a connecting computer, satellite radio units, CD players or additional media players. Twelve radio memory presets lock in favorite stations for listening at the push of a button. A simple push-and-turn rotary knob controls volume, bass, treble and the aux-input mode.

Depending upon the model, a stylish black or white cabinet allows the ZK150 to fit in any room of the house, and it yields another surprise – a 1/8-inch (3.5mm) headphone minijack for another listening option. A Zune device isolation bracket is included to secure the player and reduce vibration during extreme volumes.

Soon to be available and sold separately, the KICKER 12-Volt Road Power Source for the ZK150 Dock makes it useful even away from the house. This exclusive accessory provides safe, continuous power while using the ZK150 in a vehicle. The extra-long cable (9.8 feet/3m) easily reaches from a 12-volt power port to anywhere in the car, truck or SUV for instant tailgating at the lake, beach or camp.

The ZK150 Docking System with Alarm and 12-Volt Road Power Source for the ZK150 will become available online at shop.kicker.com and at Authorized KICKER Dealers nationwide, starting with the ZK150’s release in September 2009.
