Overview

Those responsible for the critically acclaimed ZK500 heard the need for that same punishing bass and rich, robust sound – KICKER® sound – but in a less imposing package. Zune™ users rejoice with the release of the KICKER ZK350 Digital Docking System, compatible with all current Zune devices and receiving HD Radio™ signal through a Zune HD player and external antenna. It also offers the flexibility to be played anywhere with a separately sold battery-pack accessory.

The ZK350 portable powerhouse proves attitude runs in the family. Clear, powerful midrange and high frequencies flow from the full-range, 4-inch woofers and 1/2-inch tweeters. It really rocks with a 4.5-inch square reflex subwoofer in the back creating dynamic bass response that brings music and video to life. A specialized KICKER amplifier powers the unique vibe and includes internal digital signal processing with selectable bass or treble to fine-tune to the listener’s ears.

A lightweight, fully functional remote control handles adjustments any user would expect – play and pause selections, volume, mute, power on/off, skip forward and back, and fast-forward and back, as well as levels for bass, treble, or the auxiliary-input option. This remote goes above and beyond by taking the listener deep into the Zune device’s music, pictures and video collections. Powering up and user control is also handled through the rotary knob and its push features, which make it easy to change the volume, bass, treble and aux-input settings while viewing the LED indicator window. A docked Zune player always continues to charge, even when in Standby mode. The handy 1/8-inch (3.5mm) headphone minijack can be used as another listening option where less volume or privacy is needed.

The auxiliary-input jack allows the connection of additional media players, CD player, computer, or satellite radio units for other entertainment through the premium zKICK™ sound system. Composite Video Out lets the Zune player’s content play on a separate, larger video monitor. Fixed Audio Out provides flexibility by connecting the zKICK and Zune device to larger audio systems or entire-house audio distribution. An HD/FM antenna captures signal from local radio stations picked up by the Zune device, and also previously mentioned HD-Radio signal by Zune HD players.

The ZK350 includes a useful magnetic storage bay for stowing the remote, and a convenient integrated carry handle.

Soon to be available and sold separately, the KICKER Rechargeable Battery Pack for ZK350 provides ultimate portability by attaching to the unit and powering it anywhere on the planet. A powerful NiMH (Nickel-Metal Hydride) battery allows the signature KICKER sound to flow wherever the ZK350 goes.

Another handy accessory sold separately, the KICKER 12-Volt Road Power Source for the ZK350 Dock makes it useful on a road trip. This exclusive accessory provides safe, continuous power while using the ZK350 in a vehicle. The extra-long cable easily reaches from a 12-volt power port to anywhere in the car, truck or SUV for instant tailgating at the lake, beach or camp.
